Poetry Open Mic Night Guidelines

ReVerse and Heartspace are welcoming poets of all skill levels to share their talents with a local audience in a Poetry-Focused Open Mic!

Here are some basic rules:

Performances are 7:00 PM- 8:30 PM on Wednesday, September 25th

-Sign-Up begins at 6:45 PM

-Please come prepared! Be sure to bring any notebooks, printouts, or other materials that you might need for your performance

• A mic and speaker will be provided, if needed
• Please be considerate of other performers!
• Be mindful of volume while others are performing
• Show support, finger snap, and stay for the performers after yourself
• Be respectful of everyone, their boundaries, and their belongings

There is no charge to join and open to the public, so we ask that you be mindful of this when selecting what art to perform. What does this mean?

For example, it means:

• NO nudity or pornography
• NO hate speech
• NO excessive self-promotion, or pushing merch
• DO offer content warnings, when appropriate

And, of course, have fun!
